We’ll walk through the core concepts that drive conversations, decision-making, and benchmarking inside iGo so you can participate confidently and start implementing immediately.

• Essential terminology you’ll hear throughout the groups
• Where to find key information inside iGo resources and materials
• The core basics every member should understand early on
• The numbers you NEED to know

Breakout Session: The Next Version of Your Business: Scaling Without Breaking What’s Working

Most inspection company owners aren’t trying to start anymore, they’re trying to evolve. But growth brings a real tension: how do you scale the business without breaking the systems, culture, and reputation that got you here?

This session explores how owners move from a stable company to the next version of the business without creating chaos in the process. We’ll look at the common crossroads many companies hit between 1-5 inspectors, where the question becomes: scale up, or tighten margins first?

We’ll cover:

• When to expand vs. optimize: knowing whether growth or refinement should be your next move
• Signs your systems are lagging behind revenue: the operational cracks that appear as companies grow
• Identifying the constraint: is the bottleneck the owner, operations, marketing, or hiring?
• Avoiding the accidental ceiling: preventing the hidden limits that stop companies from scaling

If you feel caught between maintaining what’s working and building what’s next, this session will help you identify the constraint and chart the next stage of your company’s growth.

Speaker(s): Wes Mast and Kristy Mast, Co-Owners, Pro-Spect Inspection Service, iGo Community Coaches; Susie L'archeveque and Stephane Blanchard, Co-Owners, AmeriSpec Quebec

10:40AM-11:30AM

Breakout Session: Capacity Planning: Avoiding Feast-or-Famine Scheduling

Too many inspection companies swing between being overwhelmed with bookings and scrambling to fill the schedule. Without a clear capacity plan, it’s easy to end up with seasonal overstaffing, under-utilized inspectors, and unpredictable revenue.

This session breaks down how growing companies create a predictable scheduling system that keeps inspectors productive without burning out the team. You’ll learn how to spot capacity problems early and plan hiring, scheduling, and staffing decisions around real demand.

We’ll address common challenges, including:

• Seasonal overstaffing
• Under-utilized inspectors
• Booking gaps
• Poor forecasting

You’ll also walk away with practical tools, including:

• A rolling 90-day forecast model
• Hiring timing math
• CSR scheduling tactics that maximize daily inspector utilization

If your schedule regularly swings between feast and famine, this session will show you how to build a smarter capacity plan and keep your team consistently productive.

Speaker(s): Blaise Ingrisano, Owner, Inspecticore, iGo Community Coach

Breakout Session: Revenue Is Up… So Where’s the Profit? The Real Math Behind Inspection Margins

Revenue is up for many inspection companies, but profit isn’t always following. As businesses grow, small pricing gaps, rising admin costs, and inefficient staffing decisions can quietly erode margins.

This fast-paced, data-driven session breaks down where inspection companies are actually making money and where they’re losing it. Using anonymous benchmark data compiled from inspection company groups, we’ll look at the real numbers behind profitable operations and the decisions that drive them.

We’ll cover:

• Pricing power in shifting markets
• Cost creep in payroll + admin
• Revenue per inspector vs. utilization
• When to add vs. replace staff
• Commercial as a margin stabilizer

If revenue is growing but profits feel tighter than they should, this session will show you where the margin is hiding and how to capture more of it.

Speaker(s): Wes Mast, Co-Owner, Pro-Spect Inspection Service, iGo Coach; Jonathan Giner, Co-Owner, Truview Inspections

1:30PM-2:30PM
103

Breakout Session: Inspector Recruiting Playbook: Hiring Before You’re Desperate

Hiring great inspectors is one of the biggest growth challenges for inspection companies, and waiting until you’re desperate almost always leads to a bad hire. The solution is building a recruiting system before you actually need the next inspector.

We’ll cover:

• Where strong candidates actually come from
• Compensation models that attract A-players
• Paid training vs. sink-or-swim
• Red flags during ride-alongs

Speaker(s): Dan Deist, Owner, Top To Bottom Inspections, Head Coach iGo Community

1:30PM-2:30PM
104

Breakout Session: Office Efficiency: Fixing the Bottlenecks You Can’t See

As inspection companies grow, office strain grows with them. More calls, more scheduling complexity, and more pressure on your team can quietly create bottlenecks that cost you bookings and revenue.

We’ll cover:

• CSR scorecards
• Scheduling efficiency
• Missed call tracking
• Conversion rate optimization
• When to hire an operations manager

If your office feels busy but growth still feels harder than it should, this session will help you identify and eliminate the bottlenecks holding your business back.

Speaker(s): Christine Ingrisano, Co-Owner, Inspecticore; Ashley Funke, Co-Owner, That One Inspector; Cassi McHenry, Marketing Manager, ZyraTalk by EverPro

1:30PM-2:30PM
105

Breakout Session: Agent Presentation Bootcamp: How to Give Great Presentations That Get Results

Agent presentations are one of the most powerful ways to build referral partnerships and grow your inspection business, but most inspectors either struggle to get them or miss opportunities when they do. In this high-energy bootcamp session, you’ll learn exactly how to secure more presentations with real estate offices and deliver a presentation that agents actually remember.

A great agent presentation isn’t about dumping information, it’s about demonstrating value, building trust, and showing agents how you help them serve their clients better. The right approach can turn a 30-minute presentation into months (or years) of referral relationships.

How to get the presentation:

• Proven strategies for getting invited to Realtor offices and team meetings
• Simple outreach scripts that open doors with brokers and team leaders
• How to position your presentation so agents actually want you there

How to crush the presentation:

• The structure of a high-impact Realtor presentation
• What agents actually care about (and what they tune out)
• How to communicate your value in minutes, not slides
• Techniques that turn a presentation into ongoing referrals

Speaker(s): John Tyler, Owner, Checklist Inspections, iGo Community Coach; Brian Barbour, Regional Sales Manager, PriorityLab

Breakout Session: From Technician to Leader: Building a Management Layer That Actually Works

Do you ever hear yourself saying, “I can’t keep managing everything”? As inspection companies grow, the owner can’t stay the hub for every decision, question, and problem. Building a management layer is often the next step, but doing it wrong can create confusion, resentment, or lost productivity.

We’ll cover:

• When to create an inspector manager
• How to train for leadership vs. production
• Compensation models for field leaders
• Avoiding resentment from top producers
• What NOT to delegate

Speaker(s): Robbie Hett, Inspector Development & Recruitment, Elite Group Property Inspections

3:00PM-4:00PM
103

Breakout Session: Beyond the Base Inspection: Building Ancillary Revenue That Sticks

Most inspection companies know they should be selling more add-on services, but knowing and executing are two different things. Some have tried packages and pulled them back. Others are stuck at a 20% adoption rate and can't figure out how to break through.

This session brings together two owners who've been in the trenches with ancillary revenue, one who killed his packages, rebuilt them, and came back stronger, and one who's actively experimenting with what moves the needle on adoption rates.

We’ll cover:

• Package design that actually converts: tiering, bundling, and why having a "top shelf" option makes everything below it sell better
• Breaking the 20% ceiling: what's really stopping homebuyers from upgrading, and the tactics that are working right now
• The CSR's role in revenue: how your scheduling team drives ancillary adoption without being pushy (presumptive close, location-based defaults)
• Which ancillaries are worth it: not every add-on drives margin — we'll look at which services actually move the profit needle vs. just adding complexity
• Pricing psychology: when to bundle, when to itemize, and how to frame the conversation so buyers see value instead of cost

If you've been leaving revenue on the table with every base inspection you book, this session will give you a practical playbook to capture more of it.

Speaker(s): Meredith Jones and Bobby McLemore, Owners, Ally Property Inspections; Jerry Suarez, Owner, Vital Home Inspections

3:00PM-4:00PM
104

Breakout Session: Pricing Strategy in a Competitive Market

Are you quietly discounting your prices just to stay competitive? Many inspection companies lower prices without realizing the long-term impact on profitability and positioning. The truth is, strong companies don’t just compete on price, they compete on value.

This session breaks down how to price confidently in competitive markets while protecting your margins and strengthening your brand.

We’ll cover:

• When and how to raise prices
• Tiered pricing models
• Bundling add-ons (pest, sewer, pool)
• How to sell value confidently
• Scripts for pushback

If you feel pressure to compete on price, this session will give you practical strategies to price smarter, sell value, and protect your margins.

Speaker(s): Blaise Ingrisano, Owner, Inspecticore, iGo Community Coach; Josh Niehaus, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Elite Group Property Inspections

3:00PM-4:00PM

Breakout Session: Moving On: When (and How) to Make a Software Switch

Thinking about switching to Keystone, Scribeware, or iGo Reports? The process can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. This session walks through the key differences between platforms, what to consider before making the move, and how to plan for a smooth transition. Learn what needs to be in place, realistic timelines for implementation, and how to successfully onboard your team. You’ll leave with a practical checklist to help you switch with confidence and get up and running quickly.
